The best part about using Hootsuite is that you do not need to administrate your social media one by one, this help you to administrate all of them at same time and use same message for them. You do not need to think about what you should write on Twitter or Facebook, for example, you just need to take time to program your messages and Hootsuite will do it for you.

I believe that the only thing I could say about Hootsuite as negative is that you need to learn how to use it but, beyond that, it has nothing negative. Probably the fact that you need to pay for a plan if you are a company and have more than 3 active social media could be consider negative because, probably you do not have somebody a social media manager, but you what to be able to get the best result of social media

I think the worst part of using Hootsuite was the removal of facebook integration recently and being a popular user of facebook - this has affected my business and hope that the integration with facebook is restored as soon as possible. Another issue is also the Google-Hootsuite integration is also not up to the mark. I also felt that the analytics reports can be made lot user friendly. Scheduling events for clients if there are multiple users can also be a challenge.

The biggest advantage of using Hootsuite is that the customer’s social media platforms are consolidated. You can actually post to the accounts once and it makes lot easier for scheduling the posts. I especially liked the analytic reports feature as it enables me to view the social media activity of our organization's valued customers. I think the salient feature is posting a single link, snap, or a video across multiple platforms in one single shot.

HootSuite is a great way to see all your social media activity in one place and monitor mentions, messages, and whatever activity you're interested in. I love the scheduling of posts and I really like that it integrates so well with so many social networks (including Google+). It has a lot of useful features and reporting as well. I also really like being able to assign certain posts to other users to respond to. Hootsuite has one feature that other SMM tools doesn't have and it's the only reason I use it: bulk upload. I can upload 100s of tweets at once from a CSV. This lets me schedule all my tweets for the week. HootSuite's simplicity is one of the several reasons why it's at the top of the list for many marketers. In addition, you can integrate multiple social channels in one simple dashboard, to see at a quick glance what's going on with your multiple social media platforms. It already has a URL shortening system, so you won't have to worry about cramming everything in 140 characters for Twitter, and the clicks from those links can be tracked as well.

The one thing that I was not like about Hootsuite is the lack of features and analytics. I feel that if Hootsuite had a more logical tracking software, they could really put themselves forward of the game in regards to Social Media Management. Additionally, they should allow for more campaign management as well. And it doesn’t seem to be the best tool for big enterprises (depending on client of course) I feel that there are other features that competitors have that Hootsuite is just trying to implement now

I am really impressed with the logical provided by Hootsuite. At the end of a given time frame, I am able to build a report showing the overall social media activity of my clients. Hootsuite enables me get the totals number of followers to an account, number of people the account follows and number of lists the account is included on.

Hootsuite plays the role of a social manager by helping the user to schedule posts in advance for several days. Hootsuite free basic pack is the best pack while its unlimited pack makes it hard to digest because its priced for $1499 per month. If we want to go with minimum subscripition then it comes around $9 per month for managing 5 accounts which I think its good for small firm with limited interest in social media. But it doesn't satisfy the big firms needs.

Hootsuite has all the features but the one thing everyone gets annoyed is its price factor and its restriction on number of accounts. It does a justice with its feature like analytics, reports and the post can be posted with images, links and attachments. They support the customers at any point of time.

Hootsuite has a ton of third party integrations, about 150 of them. It's an easy-to-use system that can give you everything from reporting to scheduling and posting. The ability to customize how you work within your social networks is fantastic. Being able to customize the streams and tabs to match my personal workflows is great. I personally love the ability to post, schedule, pull content from the asset management system right into my dashboard.

I wish there was a stronger ability to customize the look of the reports, but that is being nit-picky. It's sometimes finicky but that happens rarely. I would say that their online training of the system could be stronger and or easier to navigate, but in today's social media world, I know things are constantly changing.

All-in-all, it's an easy-to-use system with a boatload of features. The third party app integrations with systems and platforms like Mailchimp, Pinterest, Iconosquare and Sales Force makes the system flexible for executing a variety of tasks for my end clients. It's great for the individual and small businesses all the way to agencies and Enterprise-level corporations.

However, I have to note that hootsuite seems to be more expensive that other social media management tools out there. This is in the case of teams. I mean you have to pay extra $9.99 monthly for each additional team member in the pro plan. This is expensive considering other social media management tools like buffer; $10 allows you to increase team members to manage the account at no additional cost. Also, The URL shortener ow.ly , is also too expensive for small businesses and I feel imposed to use them in my posts

Apart from having a price that is a bit on the higher end, HootSuite is still top multimedia management tool that I plan to use for a long time. I like that it is easier to use than twitdeck , management and customer friendly. Hopefully, with time, they will reduce their pricing in consideration of small business users like me.

That was becoming the big thing and while social has been around for quite some time, it was something our company was rather new to. I had some experience with Twitter, Facebook, and what-not, but I logged into each platform individually to manage things personally. HootSuite Enterprise can be a large cost to have to accept; there are competitors that have a better bid on the pricing for similar features.

There are a lot of fees to be paid to them for how many users we have connected to our account and with the types of reports we try to use to improve the services we are offering to our customers. There were a few cases where we had issues with the software; the silence between the identification and the resolution of an issue can become frightening; but HootSuite has kept us going.

If you're a single person managing social media, HootSuite can be a great deal. If you're a large company that can bite the bullet on the costs, it is a great software. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but I cannot really comment on whether they are great investments or not. HootSuite has worked great for us and we are more than willing to pay the fees associated with our usage because the tool has become an integral part of our business. We have a few complaints here and there, but we are satisfied customers all the more.

Also, you will get the same options in mobile app and desktop/web versions which is very useful to manage social channels on the go.

The only bad thing I have found about using HootSuite is that you will have to pay even for the options you get for free in tools like TweetDeck. Also, the free account has very limited features which keeps out users who want to use HootSuite for personal activities.
