This is one management tool that I will be using for a long time. Not only has it made it easier to schedule and share posts in real time across various networks, it posts supports all applications. This has made it a lot easier to post and engage with clients across more than 7 social networks, on my mobile phone. I like that the scheduling feature allows posts to be crafted according to the social media application, rather than copy and paste the same old message across all channels. Copy and pasting can be quite boring. Posts to twitter are brief, while those to face book and google plus are longer and allow multiple inclusions of visuals. This scheduling tool allows me reach out to my clients across various channels without having to post the same thing all over again. The message delegation feature is the best I have seen so far-it assists with prompt reply to customers queries. Even more interesting is the draft message feature. This feature saves a lot of time as it allows me draft and save FAQ answers and post them as soon as they are asked. Clients appreciate the prompt replies very much. It has actually encouraged clients to make more queries and this has increased online engagement to a large extent. Although mine is a small business that I manage alone, I will like to upgrade to the many interface user platform which allows for additional team members. I read that it delegates duties to different team members. This way, you can easily manage your online mentions with the help of your team.

However, I have to note that hootsuite seems to be more expensive that other social media management tools out there. This is in the case of teams. I mean you have to pay extra $9.99 monthly for each additional team member in the pro plan. This is expensive considering other social media management tools like buffer; $10 allows you to increase team members to manage the account at no additional cost. Also, The URL shortener ow.ly , is also too expensive for small businesses and I feel imposed to use them in my posts

Apart from having a price that is a bit on the higher end, HootSuite is still top multimedia management tool that I plan to use for a long time. I like that it is easier to use than twitdeck , management and customer friendly. Hopefully, with time, they will reduce their pricing in consideration of small business users like me.
