What was the best part about using Salesforce Sales Cloud?
First good thing I noticed about this software was that they offer a tour around the site and into options you can use. It is a nice thing because if you use this kind of software for the first time, you can get lost pretty easely. I also liked the fast registration + thy offer 30 day free trial, so you can do a test month and then consider, did you like the software or did you not. Next thing, I noticed, was the calendar function. It has a really good overview with hour and day management, so you can really plan your time and it will not be hard to track. Also, contact list is made quite primitive, you can arrange your contacts by name, account name, phone, email, contact owner alisas, so it will be easy to find the person you are looking for and I did like contact detail interface, mobile phone, e-mail and other information I need to know, instantly in front of my eyes. “Quarterly Performance” graph was nicely made, with feature that you can move cursor across it and see money flow by dates. Group list interface is easy to overlook too. I did like the switch to classic mode feature, because, I do not know why, I enjoyed it. The old kind of dashboard, it looks cool.
In general, you can find information you have stored in this software without any difficulties, so it is a helpful software if you have many employees working in your company, you will find everyones stored information fast enough. Application is capable of customer service, partner relationship management and many more. Another good thing about it is that there is a search bar, you can find a person or document without going through all folders.
Also, I think if you have a big business, 135$ a month from a user is not a price too expensive to get all your stuff in one place, it gets a lot of weight off your neck and you save a lot of time.
What would you change about your experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud?
I think this software would be great for a big company, there is a place for every piece of information, but for a little business, there are too many features and options. Why waste money on something you will not even get to use. Of course, Salesforce offers you to buy cheaper package with the less options, but still. I also takes a little too much clicks to get from one place, to another. Maybe it is not really a bad thing, but it can get you lost and you lose time browsing around the interface. You can also create custom apps with schema builder, but I think this is where it gets too complicated for many users. This application offers tour, which is a good thing, however, I completed tour in 5 minutes and I think it needs to be longer and grasp more of avaliable functions to give full comprehension of this software.
Overall Feedback
General experience is good, not great, but still, I think it`s worth the price they are asking for it. What did enjoy the most, was the overlook, nothing too complicated, if I had 500 contacts, I would find the one I need in matter of seconds. Although, I do not have big experience with these kind of softwares, I did figure it out fast and I think it is a good thing. If I was a owner of a big business, I would definately buy this software for me and my colleges, to ease our work and increase our produktivity, because it is such a relief to have everything in one place and easy to find. This application also offers many more extensions and tools via Appexchange to sell more and faster.
