What was the best part about using PipelineDeals?
PipelineDeals is a contact management solution designed to be easy to use while providing your sales team with a powerful set of tools to best manage your sales process. It seamlessly syncs your Google Apps or Outlook contacts and calendar into PipelineDeals which is a nice feature. It has email capability to help facilitate customer relationships. It's easy to manage sales pipelines by staying organized in a centralized dashboard.
PipelineDeals has email capabilities to increase efficiency of communication with prospects in the sales pipeline. There is also email tracking to know open and click rates, as well as attachment downloads. The native email syncs with IMAP email servers as well as Google Apps and Outlook. I like the dedicated mobile apps available for Android and iPhone where you can update contact, leads and deals anywhere, anytime.
Teamwork will be greatly improved with the PipelineDeals collaboration functionality with the ability to share contact information, notes and deals with other team members. There is basic reporting available with ability to customize reports also while you can export this data into a spreadsheet or PDF file which is nice.
You can qualify and assign leads to your workflow and capture leads straight from your website if you integrate their open API. PipelineDeals integrates with Facebook, LinkedIn, Google and Twitter too which is important for engaging social channels in your sales pipeline to build trust and increase sales. The custom options allow businesses to update your logo, color theme, deal stages, custom fields, note categories, task based templates and a lot more.
PipelineDeals is secured using encryption with data regularly backed up. And provide phone and email customer support too. It allows sales reps to create leads and track them in a sales pipeline while setting tasks or reminders and sending emails to follow up. It allows users to manage contacts in a centralized dashboard that is quite easy to use. I like that PipelineDeals is supported in multiple countries and provides video tutorials, a knowledge base, online support in addition to their phone and email customer support.
There is a free trial available which is great and no credit card is needed. Paid pricing is reasonable though a bit above average in the market according to my research and currently starts at $24 per month, per user for their basic plan. The advanced plan at $48 per month, per user includes integrated email capabilities as well as custom fields with notification and task automation.
I really the Home tab with an overall view of latest activity, daily agenda and tasks, deal stages and other important details about the status of your sales pipeline. You can drill down from there and gather data in much greater detail. I also like the ability to set up sales task templates containing lists to do whether it be to follow up or complete a contact profile.
What would you change about your experience with PipelineDeals?
The user interface is quite clean and easy to use but there seems to be some wasted space but this is minor. The customization options for non-B2b companies may seem limited. As contacts may be set up differently than B2B contacts. More task and scheduling options would be a nice addition to the feature set. PipelineDeals integrates with Google Calendar which is great but not everyone uses it, so I suppose there are those people who would benefit from this level of functionality in the account.
The search function could utilize a better filtering system. The default view is set to Agenda without the possibility of changing this to Companies or Contacts that I could see. It's simply an extra click in the app added to your workflow which should be easily changed for those workflows which are more focused around this data. I also read it's not possible to search for other contacts prior to creating a new company, or delete duplicate companies yourself.
Overall Feedback
It would be quite simple to implement fairly large teams to use PipelineDeals. The customization options are a nice feature which differentiate this CMS/CRM from other similar software in the market. It's easy to adapt PipelineDeals for B2B but as I've mentioned perhaps not so much non-B2B companies. Overall, PipelineDeals would increase efficiency of sales teams and help to maximize closing more deals while it's very user friendly and relatively cost effective.
