What was the best part about using Pardot?
Salesforce Pardot is a high-end CRM software, which is used by many big businesses and companies to boost their marketing and accelarate sales pipeline. The name itself includes a word “Pardot” which in my language, Latvian, means “sell”, “to sell”. This software allows you to execute and track campaigns, build custom email templates and a lot more. This application helps a lot when you have to understand where is the weak point in your company and where you need to improve. However, you can also track what works the best, for your company. You can also make an algorhytm and send out emails to people and pick out the perspective customers.
I liked this application, because of the many features and options that you can use. It really gives you detailed information about how is your company doing. Although, setting everything up, may take some time, but if you want to track everything what happens to and around your company, you should really consider sacrificing those hours to boost your produktivity afterwards. And that is the reason why this application is out there- productivity. It helps you in so many different aspects and it all comes to saving your time and energy, so you can invest them in something else.
Prospect prioritization is very useful feature, because why spend time on the people, who most likely won`t buy your product anyways, if you can focus on those, who are ready to buy at any moment. And thats why this CRM is so useful, it helps you to distinguish the buyers and the wasters of your time, so you know on who to focus. And the software gets the information from analizing each an every one of the prospects by the level of interest, brand engagement and other varoius criteria.
They also offer smartphone program called Salesforce1, which basically allows you to make adjustments to your profile and manage your sales on the go. That is a good feature, because no one sits by the computer all the time, spectating the sales, even if you work in a office, there are cases you must leave your office and computer and thats when Salesforce1 comes on the stage.
You can organize custom campaigns and then test them, so you can monitor, which campaign will work the best and which will fail. It is possible to create reports, which you can use in presentations and to compare different campaigns.
What would you change about your experience with Pardot?
As I did expect, Pardot is not a cheap CRM software. You can choose plans from 1000, 2000, and 3000 dollars a month for your business, but if you need it only for yourself, then it will be 50$ a month. I guess this is not the best CRM choice to small businesses, because it will be too expensive and small company would not even use all the options featured in this CRM, so I think they should choose not so complicated software, like, Nimble. But if you choose to use this software, it is not a ordinary aplication. It is a serious selling tool, so it will take time and patience to set everything up and really make the most of it.
Overall Feedback
To sum it up, I can say that using this software really gives you what you pay for. If you set everything up right, it helps to sell smarter and faster. This software is suited for big companies and businesses, because of the price and because of the option variety it offers. Pardot takes automative email and sales management to the next level, maybe it it not the most effective CRM in the market, but I think that if you choose to go with it, you will no be dissapointed. If I was a owner of a big company, this the CRM I would probably use.
