LiveEngage is a CRM tool that can lead to more customers visiting your site. It engages with your audience by chat and your team members can offer support to many customers at the same time, so it saves time from your call center. The real-time communication also includes gathering data about your customers/audience as well as feedback for your website, with the implementation of timely pop ups. I found really useful that all chats were kept for future reference.

We have had some issues with users getting on our website by their mobile devices, because it was reported that they could not communicate with us directly, so that shows some browser incompatibilities with the software. Also, while LiveEngage is fairly easy to use, the data for the users are sometimes not so easy to access. They can be exported, but they are chunky.

A very good CRM tool to engage and communicate with your customers in real time, LiveEngage does its job well but sometimes loses the very important point of interpreting all the data it gathers to the users of the software. If you use it for your business, you may engage efficiently with your users online, but the data given back to you are often hard to take advantage of because of technical inconsistencies.
