What was the best part about using Cirrus Insight?
Cirrus is a SalesForce CRM integration software enabling users to work with Gmail as a business tool, and seamlessly interconnect to SalesForce for a more complete customer relationship management application than SalesForce alone. To be honest, I tried SalesForce yesterday and found it to be average in terms of being a complete CRM system. Cirrus provides what is missing from the current SalesForce CRM and that is extensive email marketing capabilities. You get all the functionality and mobility of Gmail seamlessly sharing data with SalesForce in real time. You would create really efficient workflows for both phone and email sales communication using Cirrus and SalesForce together. I like being able to view tasks, event activity, contacts, leads and deals right inside Gmail while syncing my Google calendar with SalesForce. With the ability to link emails to particular customers and cases or deals. When I receive an email you can see SalesForce on the right side of Gmail including all data I have about that contact with customization options to suit which fields I would like displayed. You can also sync contacts with your iPhone and other devices. And email tracking provided is a key feature for me. I know the power of this data such as email and URL click rates, downloads, time opened and emails shared to help facilitate your sales pipeline. There is no denying it helps target the optimal leads and contact them at just the right time to close the deal.
What would you change about your experience with Cirrus Insight?
It took me a minute to rule out the fact Cirrus is not for any other CRM except SalesForce. From a business perspective, Cirrus would automatically serve an already paying CRM market and fill a need in SalesForce for the exact features it offers. That's smart. The pricing itself for Cirrus is reasonable, but when combined with the cost of SalesForce CRM with any other SalesForce add-ons per month that can get costly. If you can justify the cost with an outstanding ROI of course this would be beneficial but as a start up it's not as viable. Otherwise, while Salesforce with all of the best add-ons is a dream CRM in many ways, it's possible to integrate multiple systems in a much less costly way, or simply find a CRM which does everything you need it to without having to integrate a third party membership at all.
Overall Feedback
Based only their overall reputations I trust Cirrus, Google and SalesForce will update their SAAS platforms and feel like this would be a solid investment from a technical point of view. The powerful features of Cirrus are easy to use and very little training would be needed to bring entire sales teams onboard. It's a great way to provide sales teams with consistent information using a multi-software approach for their CRM, email communication and scheduling. While integrating phone capabilities in SalesForce to makes for a truly powerful, though costly sales and marketing system.
