What was the best part about using Twitter?
Twitter is a social network where you post updates in the form of 'tweets' that are up to 160 characters long. That might not seem like much but it s more than enough for small and quick updates by people. For that purpose, it's great. When you just want to know what is going on with someone or something, you go to their twitter profile and check it out and it's quick and amazing. That would be the best paet of it. Other than that there are some additional features such as direct messaging other users which, thankfully, can have an unlimited number of characters.
What would you change about your experience with Twitter?
Twitter is great for when you want to just have a short and quick update on some things, but some times, you need more characters to explain something, or even for certain updates which is the reason why the 150 characters limit is both good and bad. It would be nice if there was some sort of a quick and effective way to just say you want to write a longer tweet and then get the option to do it without any problems, which sadly doesn't exist. Other than that issue, in order to be abl to direct message someone, you have to follow them and they have to follow you back which is sometimes a little bit tiresome and can become annoying at times too.
Overall Feedback
If you just want to have some short and quick little updates, then feel free to use it as that is where it shines. But, if you go into this expecting some long and deep conversations in tweets, then you will be sorely disappointed. For that, you should probably go somewhere else, like Facebook or something. Being able to direct message other users is a big plus and kind of makes up for the small length of tweets by letting you write messages that are as long as you need them to be.
