Skype is user friendly and it's easy to use . Best of all it is free and I used it all the time to talk to my friends and love ones especially those living in far places. it is very easy to communicate .All you need is the internet connection and the Skype app. Skype also provides high quality voice calling and also even created their own low bandwidth high definition voice codec that enables Skype users to conduct voice calls in high definition.

Sometimes it freezes. When I use it sometimes it suddenly stops! I had to wait for a few minutes . The loading time is slow . When I use the app it does not load right away. The basic version is completely free, an Internet service (preferably a high-speed network connection) is required to use the program.

Skype is great but server response time is very slow. However my calls were abysmal in quality, despite consistent high speed Internet access and it embarrassing when the other parties are clients. To my opinion, skype is still good in terms of availability when contacting a close-friend, family, or a distant relative that resides on a different country. all you need is the skype app ant internet access.

For me the best part of using Skype is it's voice clarity. It's feel like the person I am talking he is just in front of me. Also for chatting Skype is the best, communication system, notification system, minimizing everything is just like it's made for me. I can update my status anytime to shown my availability, set up a status on my current profile, call anyone anytime without any worry of charges.

It's phone calling rate is too high. Also software size is heavy & it takes time to start. Sometimes during call it may break in the middle of conversation which can ruin important business talks. Another problem is no one able to hide the Skype bar in the toolbar also be annoying at times. Except those everything is perfect.

I think overall it's good for communication. Specially between Skype to Skype Audio/Video calls, message etc. If Skype take some necessary steps to improve the quality more better specially in terms of costs, software size & call break down, then Skype would be the world's best communication software. It is the best and easiest app in all calling and video apps. Its call feature is good with clear function. Professionals also make conversation with the help of this app. I also use as professional and have 3 years experience. Group calling is another feature that is being used without any difficulty.

There was not anything worst as but the history deletion was an issue before and it was sorted out with the passage of time. Now it is to delete the history and more easier to use it on mobile phone. In start it was difficult to use it via mobile phones but now more features are added for smart phones.

It is satisfied app with cheapest rates and high quality of voice. Color features are also attractive. Video calling is also much attractive feature with best results. Group calling is another feature that is being used by the professionals. History removal was a bit difficult in start but with the passage of time it is easier.

The best part in this software is how it connect people everywhere, using computer or going mobile. You can either send message, video messages, voice calls and video chat. In business use many people use this to send documents or pictures even faster than using email. Interviewing employees or having meeting with the employer is also a good example of this software/application. One of the good thing is that it is free even when talking Skype to Skype. Frankly speaking this software helps a lot in many ways and still upgrading to be more user friendly to new user.

For some reason voice calls suddenly disconnected and video chat suddenly froze. And one thing the id, when just starting using it I add someone using his id and few have shown and have no idea who to add. For the mobile application it consume to much of my phones RAM and memory and its a big deal because my phone would hang or restart. Is there another way to have credits? What if a person don't have credit card or Paypal.

It's free, it's good and it's helpful. With some minor glitch that can be solve afterwards. I can use this almost everywhere and almost anywhere. This application and software helps in my work and communication with relatives. Seeing how it grows and improve I say it has potential to improve more and help more. I give Skype a 2 thumps up and very recommended to home and business uses.

I have been using skype for almost most of the time, from simple Hi's and Hello's, to job interviews. Skype removes the gap from having a conversation, whenever and wherever you are. User interface is simple and easy to use and utilize. The best thing about Skype is that it can be accessed almost anywhere, not to mention almost all the people are owning personal computers and smartphones, and easy to configure and install.

Aside from very often frills and lags, sometimes conversations comes to a point where you can't understand each other. Maybe just because of poor internet connectivity. Skype also consumes most space around 100mb+. And also instead of using email as contact details, I think it's better to use the mobile number, for it is easy to remember.

Skype is a must have applicaiton nowadays. As long as it stays free, it'll always be most used medium for communication. A powerfull application which is easy to use, user-friendly, and low cost. Still the best communication application or tool compared to other competing apps. Skype really is a life saver, I have saved a lot rather than to spend much on other apps. I like to rate skype 9/10. Not perfect though still need some new and minor improvements. But overall it's the best than than than others.

Skype is my interface to communicate with my clients all around the globe. I can share screen with my clients to elaborate them and explain them. I love web.skype.com, a web portal to communicate easily and you need not to install the Skype software. Skype contact export feature is also impressive and very helpful.

well, I didn't find anything worst. yes, Skype app is heavy and takes too much space in phone and not so optimal app. When you install Skype app, it takes more than 100 MB space and after that it increases as you use it. I don't like when it automatically sync my Skype contacts to my phone contacts.

I love Skype application. It is all in one and handy app to get connected with clients and widely used app. I found it best among all other chatting application or any VoIP app, video/audio application. I like the some specific features of the app like screen share, free audio and video calls in most of the countries. In desktop Skype app, if someone get online from my contacts, it shows notification about it, I like it. Funny emoticons added to new version of Skype excite me to use it more and more, its fun! :) They provide facility to set your mood and DP are also catchy features.

For someone overseeing a team of brilliant employees who work for a startup company - Skype has been our 'virtual' home where every member of the team connect and share insightful ideas about work or about our personal lives. It's a good medium to connect without really feeling like you are in a "work setting". In addition, the periodic updates on their emoticons make things lighter as well! I connect with all our clients using Skype and the conversations feel so friendly and light.

Apart from internal and external communications, we also use Skype for telemarketing purposes. However, I have always wished that Skype should find a way for a Skype manager account to be able to purchase 1 Skype number that can either be answered or can be transferred to any Skype account connected to such Skype manager. This will just make things easier instead of having to purchase different Skype numbers for every account.

Functionality-wise, Skype is just simply amazing and the fact that it stayed free makes it even more appealing to all individuals and companies. There are still few more things that can be improved though, such as (1) its limited subscription options for calls to mobiles and landlines (max is only at 400 mins per month); (2) inability to renew subscription unless 1-month has elapsed (a total limitation for small businesses like us) and (3) unavailability of immediate support for any technical or payment-related concerns - email and forums are there but it's still different when you know you can easily reach a team anytime you're stuck. Overall, Skype is a great software that is yet to undergo another phase of refinement. As long as it stays free, it'll always be every startup company's (well even established ones actually) most used medium for communication.

I really enjoy Skype I use it to stay in touch with my family and friends all around the world. With all it's great features it makes it easy to share all the great thing that are going on in our life’s. My favorite part of Skype is the video chat. I love to talk to my grandkids and get to see their faces, it just melts my heart. We talk and share pictures for an hour, it's almost like they are here with me it’s really awesome. One other thing I like about it is the fact that I am deaf so it is easy for me to talk with my friend and family still by using sign language. Skype offers so much more than the video you can communicate with Skype so many different ways and it's all for free. You can also have Skype on your phone or your computers so you can stay in touch even when you are on the go. I also use Skype for work, I am a freelance who works from home, and I use Skype to stay in touch with my clients from all around the world. It makes it so we can have a meeting and talk about the project that they want to be done. Skype makes working from home so much easier because I can communicate with my clients so much better and share, send or let them know where I’m at on the project. With all the great features Skype offers I can let my clients see my work before I finish it so they know what they are getting.

That anyone can add you, I get creepier sending me friend request all the time and they send messages about sex or about wanting to get together. I find this very annoying. But this is really the only complaint I have with Skype. My fear is what happen is one of my young family or friend add one of these creepers and something bad happens.

Skype offers so many different things, it doesn’t matter what you are using it for work or pleasure you will enjoy using it. I have found it to be easy to use so I would say anybody could use it. Skype can be used by anyone, deaf, blind, etc. It has all the features to make it so no matter who you are or if you have a disability you can still use it that is what is so great about Skype. This is one of my favorite things about it. I would recommend Skype to anybody.

As a business associates I'm really into using software that is offers chatting, calls, and video call features. For so long I've been using Yahoo Messenger software to cater this in my need. But now, I've shifted into using Skype as an alternative to that traditional platform. Skype offers so much compared to its counterpart. I've been using the software for almost 5 years now and I've never seen them do some updates. I have been using Skype to contact my loved ones and to do business calls and deals. They offer a very smooth interface, from chatting, to normal audio calls and video calls. Other than that I've been using Skype to conduct trainings, meetings and other group chats through their great feature of conference calling.

However, after using this for so many years, I've seen some glitches in their software. There are times that a call crashes and you don't know why that is happening. I've also experienced some "laggy" moments where I feel the some slow processes in its system. Well other than that Skype is really doing so well in terms of their services.

All in all Skype is the best right now in the market. You can use it freely, or you can upgrade to a premium version if you needed to. Skype has very great team of customer service, they will respond into your problem immediately, and I also love how Skype is doing some charitable works. Like if you have a calamity in your country, Skype will offer free calls overseas! And yeah Skype can cater all your needs.

I've been using skype for my business communication where I could see most of the clients are available in skype which is a too awesome either in their marketing or services. It also available in the mobile like any other apps. It provides a better visual and emotes to reduce the typing. I haven't faced any network difficulties with skype. I can check on other person availability and their country or place timings without disturbing them which helps me to reach them on a better timings and mood.

The ads are intolerable while making face to face chatting which hinder by occupying 25 to 30 percent of the screen which makes it difficult in viewing the screen. I use to have personal + business account but it allows only one account to be opened at a time in the mobile. The clarity with the mobile in a video conferencing is like a sloppy.

Skype is excellent for business persons for whether to call or present meeting or to provide a demo. Similar software can be found but they are too large compared to skype and they make it too hard either visually or through their function. But in the skype the design and its function gives an appealing mood to work with skype. With my past experience its the best in its category.
