ABOUT SchoolAuction.net

SchoolAuction.net is a software company who likes to help non-profits with their fundraisers.

We’re a small company, based in Portland, Oregon. When you talk to one of us, we guarantee that you’ll be talking to someone who knows a lot about fundraising auctions. We developed our software because we had to – the original developers were recruited to run a school fundraising auction in 2004 and the other partners found them when THEY were running other school auctions. Since then, we’ve helped over 1,000 other auction teams in 48 states (and counting!) run events. We’ve been working full-time on this since 2006 and live, breathe, eat and sleep auctions.

Affordable Option for Mobile Bidding for School Auction

What was the best part about using SchoolAuction.net?

The ease of the set-up of our auction on SchoolAuction.net was a great feature. We also appreciated being able to have unlimited access to team members that needed it. The mobile bidding was a super success for our school, and many items went much higher than anticipated because our guests really got into the spirit of mobile bidding. We were able to keep tables open longer as we served our meal, which contributed to the higher bids. Guests described being able to socialize more, instead of standing over the item that they wanted to bid on. Great Product and superb end results for our school!

What would you change about your experience with SchoolAuction.net?

It was difficult to determine during the night of the auction which items had not received bids without going through all the items individually. There were a few items that had not received a bid that afterwards several guests stated that if they would have known, they would have bid on it. Otherwise no other issues or complaints!

Overall Feedback

Our auction attendees enjoyed using the mobile bidding software. We were able to quickly check-in our guests and monitor the items up for bid. The pre-registration emails helped to prepare guests for what to expect at the event. During the night of the auction, we had NO problems with the mobile bidding and our guests loved the concept! Items went for more than expected and it was a great experience for our guests. The system was user friendly to enter the auction items, and made for a smooth experience! Overall a great product and very user friendly. I feel confident knowing we are planning to use School Auction.net for our next event!
