Produce Magic can be set up in as little as a few days (even a day!) to a few weeks depending on how much time the new customer needs for training, any conversion, and how much we are assisting the customer for set-up and how much customizing was requested for the start-up. We always start up by training the "Trainer/SysAdmin" online and giving all of the assistance needed/requested by the customer. While other items are being completed a 1-person station can be set up for the admin to get going. Then later we can set up the server(s) and help loading the PCs and Laptops. We work with IT departments as well as anyone who has a little bit of technical 'savvy' to get the job done onsite through the Internet. If you need us there, we'll be there. You receive unlimited upgrades at no cost, adding only cost of the upload/download times, usually no more than 15-20 minutes. Since we customize every day of the year, you can either request upgrades as they are applicable, or one of our support staff would reach you when certain features have been added that would be good for you and then do the upgraded version. Also, if there are any legal or industry requirements issued, we will always have everything ready before the deadline dates and we will contact you to schedule the new version download at your convenience. Update: to make things more clear, we use several, flexible tools to make standard forms for many uses to use on a smartphone wherever you are. These applications are standard but adjusted or customized specifically for your needs. Online ordering, receiving, inspections, inbound trucks/deliveries from the farm and other EDI and Cloud-based applications are some of the ways our smartphones can use these tools. Good question! iPhone and other "smart" phones, as Androids, are regarded as social phones. They are not made to 'hold' entire software programs that are large. Produce Magic has at least 1.7 million features today to cover the entire Fresh Produce Industry, any part of it, or all of it. Yet, we are designing and completing a few "apps" for certain functions or screens of Produce Magic, such as sales orders etc. I hope I have answered your question.
