What would you change about your experience with MailChimp?
MailChimp is not hands off. There is going to be more of a learning curve if you've never done email marketing before. But I would guess anyone can use this system confidently within one or two hours. It's robust and there is a lot of customization possible. But MailChimp typically makes this as easy as possible. Some features are not included with the free plan but that can be understood from a business perspective. The paid plans can become costly but all things considered if you put this software into action a significant return on investment is very possible quickly.
Overall Feedback
I would recommend MailChimp as the tool for anyone just starting out with email marketing as the free plan allows you to learn and implement decent size email campaigns with an email reputation sure to deliver the message to your prospect's email inbox. If you were to scale a campaign near the limit MailChimp offers you would easily have the traction to continue moving forward, easily justifying the paid plans to grow your business further.
The overall system is very intuitive to me as I've used several and know what to look for efficiently. There is a couple hours of work in store for anyone first learning to setup campaigns. But it's easily done on your own or through the knowledge base, video tutorials and helpful support. Highly recommended.
