Intercom

I like that Intercom focuses on essential parts and enables you to communicate with users in real time. The interface is simple. The UX is nice and inviting. Its filtering capabilities help hugely to make the best of the data in front of us. They have a pretty good iPhone app, so you can monitor what's going on while you're on the go.

Overall I'm a huge fan of Intercom, however, there have been some small issues. Unfortunately, the product has been running slow lately. Even without running a search, you can have to hang around waiting for a page to load. Intercom is building new features rapidly, that's positive, but they don't seem to be focused on reporting or analytics.

An intercom is an amazing tool for sales and support people and managers, it allows you to communicate personally with every single customer. The platform enables its users to manage customer inquiries and schedule automated outgoing e-mails. Using Intercom we've managed to quickly identify users we should communicate with, we have real-time discussions and receive numerous feedback from users that would have otherwise been difficult to obtain through other channels. The number of chats we get has doubled versus the previous solution. We use Intercom to monitor our usage statistics, send out marketing/product updates, and provide real-time support to our customers. It has also allowed us to set up sophisticated automatic messaging, both in-app and email, to trial users.
