What was the best part about using HappyFox?

HappyFox is a a customer support and help desk cloud based help desk software which is very intuitive to learn and use to get going quickly. There is a free trial you can have for thirty days without a credit card in fact you do not even need to confirm your email before they log you into to check it out so it takes about twenty seconds to get started. I like the user interface and menu setup everything is laid out clearly and simply the use the labeled icons which are best in my opinion. They make it extremely easy to navigate your account without having to learn another small new set of symbols which can add up when you are using several different softwares so while it may be a minor design aspect this makes a difference in having the most efficient workflow in my opinion. Having your support desk be cloud based has got to be the smartest choice in my opinion. While cloud apps can have solid security though also scale to the needs of your business rather than have a limited amount of resources having to implement and deploy new servers and databases in order to grow. This makes it by far the most cost effective choice as you are eliminating need for additional hardware, labor, maintenance and upgrades all together. And you are never spending more than is necessary which is the great thing. HappyFox is also very mobile adaptive and responsive and you can receive and respond across multiple communication channels like email, mobile and voice including both Android and iOS operating systems so it's pretty well setup for remote technicians and agents to use this tool and that's not only a great way to increase workflow efficiency and productivity but save time because you're basically on the same page no matter where you are until you log off. The app integrations are awesome in HappyFox which allow you to extend your capabilities considerably internally and externally. You can have an external URL get called when tickets are created with web hooks. You can enable third party remote authentication with their JSON web token functionality. You can also create and embed contact forms which can be placed on your website as internal integrations. Externally, you have almost twenty integrations to choose from currently including Facebook, Google, Google Apps and Twitter. There are ecommerce integrations for Shopify and Magento so two pretty big ones. There are about eight customer relationship manager softwares which are already available to sync up to from SugarCRM to HighRise plus six more. There is Twilio for receiving calls which is great this makes it really easy and inexpensive to have this voice component in your pipeline. There is Remote Desktop integrations speaks for itself and is great to have at the ready. As well as Jira so you can turn tickets into full blown issues for your development team and communicate from a centralized portal. MailChimp just about rounds it out for email integration so there's only the one but it's a good choice. Olark is there for live chat integration and Freshbooks for online accounting.

What would you change about your experience with HappyFox?

I don't see the ability to add images to tickets without using Screencast which should be a standard feature available in all support desk software in my opinion.

Overall Feedback

Overall there is a nice selection of third party software as a service you can sync up to making HappyFox a core portal for your business operations which is a terrific way to completely streamline your communication and have 360 visibility of your customer contact data through your development team, sales team and support team. As well as accounting and marketing so it can become a very comprehensive core component of you systems. And starting at $9 per month, per user the value of their offer is excellent and makes it practical for any size of business to get going really quickly which I can appreciate. I found myself considering the power and control possible with full SalesForce modular integration and how it would be a dream to do but it is simply not even close to a viable option for most small businesses. And when you look at how well you can streamline access to such as well rounded set of systems available into something for a relatively low cost comparatively it becomes a very appealing offer I will seriously consider for our start up.
