Severity 1 - Inability to use any major functions of the Software, resulting in a critical impact on user objectives.

Time to respond is 30 minutes during Support Hours.



Severity 2 - An important existing functionality is not available and there is not an acceptable workaround.

Time to respond is 2 hours during Support Hours.



Severity 3 - Incorrect behavior of the Software, cosmetic problem or an important existing functionality is not available but there is an acceptable workaround.

Finding Documents in FileStar 4.5

Find Documents is a structured approach that allows a pre-selection of the type of information that you are looking for. For example, a user can search for documents for a specific company or tenant and the results will reflect the pre-selected Search criteria. To broaden your search results, leave a choice as "All" and then search. Then use the Filters on the Results page to further narrow down the results. All columns are sortable by clicking on the column heading.

Keyword Search is a full text search of all information in the system and all text in spreadsheets, Word files and PDF files. A user may enter in a word or phrase and click Search. To improve accuracy, put the keywords in quotes. (more)

Does FileStar integrate with Microsoft Outlook?

FileStar can accept emails forwarded in from any email system, including Outlook. This is a great feature that allows you to use Outlook as you do today, but to also archive or save emails that are business critical. Just forward the email into FileStar and you can save the body of the email as a document and any attachments can be saved as separate documents also. FileStar retains the integrity of the original email including links to the attachments. (more)

FileStar does not currently integrate with Outlook. However, you can send documents into FileStar from Outlook or any other email application. See your Administrator about your company's assigned FileStar email address(es).

Depending on your browser, some file types, like PDF, can be emailed from FileStar as an attachment. (more)
