Ecrion is a US-based provider of CCM technology that focuses on serving the Insurance, Financial Services, Government, Retail, and Manufacturing industries. It has customers in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. Founded in 2002, the company’s success in developing document editing software and high-speed rendering capabilities allowed it to expand its product suite and enter the CCM market with an enterprise IT solution.

Ecrion’s flagship offering is Ecrion Engage, a comprehensive platform built on a modular, yet unified architecture. The tool is organized into modules, enabling users to access design, data modeling and analytics tools, interactive / correspondence portals, workflow automation, alongside a customer journey module. The software comes with API access, is based on open source rendering and uses XML as a formatting language, which gives software programmers the ability to tailor it to their needs. Its composition tools can be accessed both in-the-cloud and on-premise.

Ecrion’s design tool is an attractive, robust editor with a similar look and feel to Microsoft Word, making it a comfortable tool for business users, with a minimal learning curve and providing immediate productivity. Ecrion also offers an online, zero-weight editor for business users who prefer online editing, however the online editor is not designed to be used for (advanced) template development. A key differentiator for Ecrion is its analytics engine, which provides a tremendous amount of interactivity to HTML5 dynamic communications.
