What was the best part about using Zuora?
It is scalable, flexible and functional.I like their pricing options, they are flexible and creative.It is a very stable platform and it integrates closely with Salesforce.Zuora is cloud based and includes a decent amount of billing functions, rate plans, payment runs etc.It can handle a huge amount of bill runs. Also, Zuora makes it easy for the sales team to build quotes.
What would you change about your experience with Zuora?
There is room for improvement in reporting. It lacks advanced reporting features and a more robust system to accomplish that.It has a challenging learning curve for finance people because the system is constantly changing.I would like to see HTML emails in addition to text emails already existing in Zuora. Also, I would like to see a feature for generating coupons or discount codes.

If you choose Zuora, you will adopt creative pricing and packaging strategies and thus gain more market share, automate billing and payment operations, high value assisted sales and make decisions based on subscription metrics.If you have a very complex system and tight migration schedule, purchase their professional services or hire a good implementation team. Keep thing simple, and once it is integrated, you will love it.I can recommend Zuora for you if you need customized quotes, quote templates, a strong SOAP API, if you have a strong support team. If not, look for something else.
