What was the best part about dealing with Web.com Search Agency?
Web.com Search Agency is a company I have recently contacted to learn about their search engine optimization services. I am doing extensive research to learn more about why companies such as this are so highly rated and what makes them the better choice for our project. It's very interesting to see the huge range of services, designs, branding, guarantees, pricing, responsiveness, processes and methodologies, certifications, testimonials, case studies and so on across these companies which are supposedly among the best in the world.
What would you change about your experience with Web.com Search Agency?
I cannot honestly say much positive about this company in terms of my opinion of their presales materials and ability to convince myself as a prospect that they are credible, leading industry authorities. They are not Better Business Bureau accredited, nor is their parent company Web.com. They seem to have stopped evolving their website and perhaps their understanding of current search engine optimization best practices in 2011 or 2012 judging by the antiquated content on their site. Their blog is abandoned and shares old content that is not relevant to SEO or digital marketing at all. They offer poor advice in the sales copy of their site, which is was a modern design in the early 2000's perhaps. They offer preset packages you can purchase via a single source being Paypal. And when I submitted a form request for a quote it killed their website. Definitely run from this company if you're considering using it for SEO because you found it on a popular SEO review site online.
Overall Feedback
There is no verifiable proof that this company is currently active in the industry including a form submit which only ends in an error and no submission made to the company. Otherwise a lot of their content is greatly outdated and some of it would harm your SEO efforts according to current algorithms in search engines nowadays. There are no case studies, no testimonials. They claim to have Microsoft and other big companies as clients with no links or anything to proof this is true. Having done thorough research into several of their competitors which come also highly rated it is clear this company no longer belongs on this list of highly rated companies. How they remain there is beyond me and should be removed immediately. There is a real risk involved if you are able to contact this company because I don't believe their current knowledge of the industry is sufficient, nor are any of the other presales criteria in my opinion.
