What was the best part about using UserVoice?

This was a support software I had tried during my research into the best for our company. There were a lot of features I liked such as the ability to use instant answers and gain valuable customer feedback. It's easily embedded on your website or mobile app which is good. You can utilize a single sign on portal which is awesome. There are feedback forums available for customers. The support ticketing is robust and intuitive to use. You can create a knowledge based ongoing which is a huge time saver after it's built up and it supports search engine optimization. The support analytics are good as well enabling you to have a good understanding of your customer feedback over time providing valuable insights to help adapt and improve your business. The inspector feature is strong and allows you to know who you're talking to much better. There are SDK's to help you create apps and domain aliasing as well so you can use your own domain and branding. It's SSL secured which gives peace of mind regarding sensitive information. And there are multiple types of moderation which I appreciated.

What would you change about your experience with UserVoice?

I don't particularly care for the exclusive based pricing where in some features are excluded from plans based on the tier you're paying for. I'd love to see more inclusive pricing with all features included across plans but varying in terms of admin accounts or in other ways perhaps. This is minor but I also like menus which have the option of icons or labels, or both. When you use multiple software every day it's simply more efficient to have labels and not have to refamiliarize yourself ongoing. Though they are minimal and easy to learn. It's the cumulative amount of icons through any given day which add up to a less efficient workflow. Certainly not a deal breaker though.

Overall Feedback

The pricing is quite reasonable though on the upper end per user based on my research especially considering not all features are included with the lower plans making it costly for small businesses. Other than that it's quite solid support software and should certainly be included among your choices for your company. They have a good number of marquee clients using it already to support it's credibility.
