What was the best part about using Unomy?

Unomy is market research and lead generation tool which helps you gain valuable insight and business information regarding any company and it's very easy to use. There is a Chrome browser extension which is cool that helps you to grab insight into contacts quickly or on the fly. It definitely helps you to be better prepared for sales meetings and demos. As the more accurate your profile is the more effective B2B lead generation tends to be. Your ability to create a list and manage it are quite nice inside your dashboard as well. The user interface is relatively user friendly and quick loading which I like a lot. The amount of details you can obtain is good too. You can learn a lot from each of the modular components in your dashboard such as people, finance, social, website, similar and notes so there is definitely a variation of sources and connection to each prospect. And there are a lot intangibles too that comes from the data and information which empowers sales reps using Unomy because it really helps qualify B2B leads and prepare for demos. Being well informed prior to a business meeting or a sales call is so critical and this tool can put you in the best position to succeed. The market research capabilities are helpful in the sense you're able to discover new markets and opportunities in a big picture which can be filtered in a good amount of targeted ways. You're able to track your competition and your client's competition. All of this information adds up to create a valuable base of knowledge available in a few clicks. You can empower your sales reps with Unomy because nurturing leads and preparedness for meeting and demos is a big part of closing the sale. One small detail can be the difference beyond the product or service you're offering which helps build the trust the decision makers need. And that relationship is also the basis for how successful you are with retaining long term customers. If you're able to know about your client company changes and current situation and have the ability to share this awareness of their company it shows you care and becomes much easier to maintain a meaningful trust which in turn means more sales because there is no reason to consider leaving you.

What would you change about your experience with Unomy?

There isn't much as far as integrations go it would be nice to export data into any customer relationship management tool in the market. The company profile pages seem kind of basic and the emails limits per month at three hundred and two thousand in their paid plans are relatively low. The two thousand leads works out to be a little under fifty cents per lead per month which is slightly lower than the industry average I believe, but the three hundred plan comes in at almost a dollar per lead which is definitely more than average.

Overall Feedback

If you have the means to invest time into creating a rich, full profile for each targeted prospect in your sales pipeline you are truly putting yourself in the best position to succeed. Knowing the background, recent news and challenges of your prospect prior to reaching out to them is a very powerful practice and Unomy empowers you to do this easily and learn from a lot of different sources quickly in one central location. The company pages could definitely offer greater detail in terms of industry codes and I'm pretty sure there are some next generation business intelligence tools like ChartIO.com which could add some awesome new data streams to help further differentiate this service, but it's got all of the general basic information you need available to you via website, social media channel and in other ways so it's got a lot going for it already. What Unomy allows you to do is prepare and maintain current knowledge of prospects, customers and competitors and can be the difference in obtaining a new client, or not. There is a free trial available to get to learn how all of the features work with no credit card required so definitely check it out. Pricing is a bit costly for smaller businesses but could have a huge ROI if you put this data into action in your sales pipeline.
