We ultimately had the company host the software, giving us the peace of mind in knowing that the software would not go down on us. We’ve had too many times where software has malfunctioned or caused more problems than they are worth. We’ve had no such problems with TimeOut.

TimeOut has worked great for us, but we have had our share of issues with getting used to their system. That being said, the only real headache lies in issues between our calendars and the software. However, I think nearly all of those issues have been ironed out.

As a manager in a growing business it has become difficult trying to keep track of days off, holidays, requested days, and different schedules amongst our growing number of employees. Having gotten frustrated with trying to keep things in my head and in spreadsheets, I ended up looking to software to help me keep track of everything. We tried a couple of other solutions, but TimeOut was the first one that actually handled things in an easy-to-use manner that employees were able to use without having to worry about miscommunication or having to train people on it. With the right settings, we were able to ensure employees could request time off while ensuring that everyone was compensated for the time they put into the business. Holidays were being tracked and it made scheduling projects much easier.
