What was the best part about using Sysax FTP Automation?
One of the best parts of the programme was its ease to setup an STFP upload task when running it using the creation wizard. It would trigger every time a file in a local folder changed, do post processing of the files that have been transferred so far and also filter documents that should be exchanged. So far it has been reliable and running smoothly.
What would you change about your experience with Sysax FTP Automation?
There is nothing that would put up a red flag on the programme. It’s easy to use; however for people dealing with a more complex sequence of document exchanges may find the initial setup a little more time taking and cumbersome but once you get past through it, it’ll pretty much run independently without any issues.
Overall Feedback
Overall, the programme as a whole it is very reliable and convenient to use. Its supports FTPS and SFTP and ensure safe and secure transfer. Automation of all types of files from simple to complex is possible. In Addition, it has a number of other features that are very useful like e-mail notification, scheduling a task, authentication of the public key, (de)compressing a file, FTP scripting, maintaining detailed log files, etc. It even provides you with a script generating wizard, an editor and a debugger. It is compatible with both 32 and 64-bit editions of Windows XP, 2000, Vista, 7, 8 and even Windows Server 2012.
All in all, it is more than just a replacement for the previous Windows console FTP programme. It is one complete package for safely automating file transfers which is very much affordable while its non-commercial personal use edition is absolutely free.
