Symantec Endpoint Protection

Symantec comes to the security market with a neat little app that goes far beyond any firewall or antivirus can go. They are putting modern technology to work for creating smarter and intelligent software dealing with security matters. What I love about Symantec the most, is it’s easy integration on all operating system - all functions run smoothly no matter what operating system you are using. Besides dealing excellently with endpoint protection, it also has SONAR - a feature which works almost like a behavioral psychologist but instead of creating criminal profiles, it scans malware disguised as legitimate programs. Of course worth mentioning are its anti-spyware and firewall - they function like well-oiled machinery. All that makes for an awesome program that all runs with just one simple control panel.

As Symantec is truly a well-functioning program with not much to say as its weakness, I must say probably the only problem you will encounter is that it is a drag to purchase it. As with many programs, in order to purchase the program, you have to send a request for a price quote, then an account manager will contact you, profile you with some questions and then you can receive a price quote and eventually buy it. For me, if I wouldn’t be aware of the quality of the program, this is usually the point where I turn back and go for another program.

Overall, Symantec is by far my favourite security software. I’ve been their user since the first Norton antivirus came out and since then, they have constantly shown and proven to be innovative, very reliable and trustworthy, always functioning well and helping you out. Buying the product can be a bit of a drag for the longtivity of the purchasing process, but the wait is 100% worth it!
