StudioPlus software is one of the best solutions for managing studio and photography businesses. StudioPlus offers a couple of tools like Spectra series, Stratus which is the web-based version as well as InSpired which is a database of images resources. StudioPlus has good tools for scheduling, invoicing, event tracking and more.

StudioPLus had to rebrand and there could be some confusion with their tools. StudioPLus pricing plan for a single user is still slightly higher than some other competitor. Tracking event and create event contracts, bulk scheduling, employee commissions and compensation, Avalara integration, advanced marketing methods including SMS texting are not available on the Express plan and you might only get it through an advanced plan. Phone support from StudioPLus technical team is not available within the Express plan.

StudioPlus is priced reasonably and it can be affordable by many businesses and photographers. StudioPlus has many features that are really useful for simple photographer business and studio to a relatively large business. StudioPlus integrates to QuickBooks, Myob and more for accounting, and it works with UPS as shipping solution. StudioPLus can be customized deeply with many integrations that worth to check before opting for it.

We use it at the studio for all available systems, PC DOS, MacOS online, and mobile devices.

Features need to match when using MacOS online system and using the PC DOS version. Currently, our office staff works on different systems, but we all need to access same form emails, and in some new clients/sessions we need to enter organization information that can ONLY be entered by the PC DOS version. This causes problems when accuracy matters. If you have a save and close feature -- it should also work on the online version. However, we have been told that if we have more than 4 windows open (as when needed to create an invoice) that feature does not work.

This system is very large and works well, except when it doesn't. It does have the ability to be flexible and there are work arounds in many instances. However, when entering a new session for high school senior on the MacOS online version asks you for something that the MacOS online version cannot complete: i.e. Enter the organization - and you cannot. Features should be comprehensive and equal between the two systems and we need to be able to rely on it.

It is lowly priced and therefore very affordable. Starting organizations can be able to purchase it. StudioPlus has a very easy setup.
