StatSocial has all the capability to be great for the fact that they provide deep demographics on social. The product and the team were very junior and haven’t changed that much over the years. Including the sales people who are not actually in tune for our marketing needs. However, it still works fine.

Lack of flexibility, clunky interface, and its inability to validate the sources of the information. When we had a test scenario and took some sample data, most of the data sets were incomplete or we couldn’t cross validate the data. They also claimed to have been using Acxiom and other sources of data which we found inaccurate.

Although this may not have worked well enough for me, I still suggest that you give it a chance. There are still some good things that come when you use it. There are some pretty useful features and you just have to be open minded about it like it also gives some detailed reports.
