Sprout Social does a great job in converting the flaws in other similar software to its advantage and making it convenient for its users in using them. Its possible for us to assign our accounts to others without the need for revealing our login credentials. So its makes it easy for social media manager to look after several accounts without asking for the clients credentials.

Sprout Social doesn't provide vast options in adding social accounts like Pinterest, Instagram which are used widely. It's a disadvantage in using Sprout for managing a lot of social pages. Even it integration with LinkedIn isn't great due to its lack of efficiency in managing the profiles and endorsements, etc. Its has its own barrier in using it and it may hinder the business that is trying to tap the market with all kinds of social platforms

I have been using Sprout Social for almost a year but i haven't realized any hinder with its platform even though it doesn't support widely known social media. Since I'm a new start up couldn't able to hire a person to manage digital marketing so till that I may not realize the loss of a single social media engagements value. It's common with new startup and grown companies in accepting their undedicated resources with entire social media channels or with a single social media channel.
