It is priced by number of concurrent users (unlike some other tools, all editions offer unlimited named users). There is no minimum contract, you can sign up for a monthly plan and cancel at any time. We do offer discounts for 1-year contracts but it's completely optional. (more)

SpiraPlan is 100% web based and can be used on any computer with a browser for the client. If you are self-hosting the server (vs. using our cloud service), then it can be any Windows computer running the IIS web server. (more)

1) SpiraPlan On-Premise (as a download version):
The licence includes one free year of software maintenance, this includes all the software upgrades. The maintenance plan may be renewed for a fee after the first year.
2) SpiraPlan Cloud (as a subscription):
You're always running on the latest version... no upgrades to worry about. (more)
