I did not observe many shortcomings with this software. The only challenge is that it has many features which tend to confuse the user. However, the software comes with a friendly user interface. This makes it easy to use It also has excellent customer support to help users.

It is effective somehow but sometimes that auto update does not work.

It lacks of features for protection purposes. The process of scanning the computer is slow. Some functionalities are not well presented that you don't know what it does and what the software can do. The things that you can do with it is somewhat limited. It is really made for protecting and detecting mostly.

Overall, Sophos Cloud is good for people who needs protection for their PC and at the same time, don't want to spend any money for it. It does its job when it comes to viruses and other harmful content, and also it gives you options on what to do with it. The interface is a bit dated but the simplistic look kind of elegant in some way.
