What was the best part about using SiteSpect?
It is an amazing multi-variation testing tool, especially as a non-Javascript solution. It enables for setting up tests to be done in no time, and without IT involvement. I like its integration with analytics platforms and its speed of development. Also, I like how it allows you to control the traffic flow and decide who is eligible for testing and who is not.
What would you change about your experience with SiteSpect?
If you don't have programmer coding experience, it will not be user-friendly that much. Analytics can be also hard to understand. The traffic allocation is not ideal for A/B testing, it is hard to understand how much of a traffic goes to each test if you have a lot of experiments running. The reporting interface and user interface could be a bit more intuitive.
Overall Feedback
SiteSpect is a digital optimization, web and mobile site platform. It offers a wide range of capabilities, such as multivariate testing, A/B testing, front-end optimization, and back-end testing. The main benefits my company realized are simple content, A/B, and layout testing, all of which led to increased conversion rates and revenue. Also, it enabled for us to manage complex trafficking across sites. On the bad side, it is not designed for the marketers to perform tests, we had to hire programming experts to help implement the tests. Before you decide to try out this platform, be sure what you need, make sure you have technical staff available and take a look at your budget. SiteSpect is best suited for large sites with serious testers. The main reason behind that is its price. This platform is worth the expense, but only if you have a serious work to be done.
