Pyramid Analytics

The Pyramid comes with a free trial version for users to toggle with and get accustomed to the platform interface. It offers impressive analytics and data discovery tools, all found in one place. The great feature of the Pyramid is its data mining functionality which I believe is one of the best around the industry. It is an advanced platform that comes with its very own mobile and cloud BI capability. This BI tool is based on complex OLAP analysis as well as in- memory capabilities.

I didn’t actually think the Pyramid should run only with the current Microsoft products as I had expected more collaboration with other user interface enhancements. Its limiting features makes it less user friendly when compared to other software competition out there in the market. Improvements on the features are usually late in reaching users, especially to its data modeling and discovery capabilities, but it sure does come.

It is basically a good platform for well governed data discovery approach. Amazingly it runs with three well connected platforms which are the bioXL, bioPoint and the bioWriter; all in one single platform makes it an efficient and effective BI tool. The Pyramid is wise to allow for integration with native apps like iOS, WinRT, Android and Windows (8.1). It comes in highly recommended for me as a platform that allows users unlimited access to their data anytime, anywhere and even on the go because of it mobile and cloud BI integration.
