Multiple ways to connect with support (i.e. FB, chat, email, phone). Server version is very reliable, flexible, and affordable. Fairly frequent updates released.

You have to talk with the right people at MVE to get issues resolved quickly and correctly. They are slow to implement new CL and spec lens products. It may take months after a vendor announces the availability before it gets into MVE.

Overall, we have been very happy with our MVE experience. The after-sales module works well most of the time. We switched from Compulink Advantage, which was software nightmares are made of.

Some of the best characteristics in My Vision Express’ functions is the ability to scan documents easily and unlock charts to add info in case adding the note was forgotten. That means it is in all its’ aspects very easy to use as well as highly customizable. By the way, the server version is also very easily usable as it is flexible and functions well.

Well, the cloud-based system is not the sunniest side of MVE – slow, crashing and buggy, it is far from well-usable. Reports are at the same time a bit confusing, meaning you have to invest far more time into reading them than you’d be comfortable with.

In most parts the system is very reliable and easy to use, especially when your needs are not that extensive and you are looking for an affordable way to make managing your practice easier. Be aware of the cloud based system, but other than that there is a lot to love.

My Vision Express is great optometry software to manage records of patients in an effective and efficient way as possible. It was helpful in keeping records on prescription, demographic, health, insurance and much more. With Vision Express, it is also simple to manage appointments, engage patients with interactive features and communicate to them in voice, text or email.

My Vision Express might be a cloud based system but is not one of the best inventions of MVE. It is slow, buggy and experiences frequent searches. The downsides water down its usability. It also gives out ambiguous reports meaning that there is a need to invest a lot more time into report reading than the comfortable period.

If you do not have extensive optometry needs, My Vision Express is a good reliable tool. It is easy to use and an affordable way to make optometry practice easier. It is a secure web hosted management and health records solution that has made the entire process to be paperless. It also has splendid after sales module.
