Both. The model for selling Laserfiche software is via a network of Value Added Resellers. Typically first level support is via the resellers, but it is possible to purchase support direct from Laserfiche if the buyer chooses to do so. (more)

Yes, Laserfiche has a very rich API which can perform the majority of the functionality of the product itself. (more)
