One of the great advantages of using Kronos, I observe, is the facility and efficiency it affords us with regard to time tracking. It definitely speeds up the calculation and summing-up process of work hours of employees, and thus, enabling my payroll department to save lots of time and resources along the way. It is definitely faster and more efficient than the old manual time tracker, and it surely helps the payroll department to do away with the usual problems concomitant with the old system of time tracking. Likewise, my employees find the system easy to use; it also provides accurate real-time attendance tracking which can be readily accessed remotely. Moreover, the tech support of Kronos is always prompt in responding to certain minor issues relative to the use of Kronos.

Kronos is obviously better than the old system, and it has eliminated some of the major issues associated with use of the old system. Yet, every once in a while, some minor issues and glitches with Kronos pop up that readily detract from Kronos’ widely acclaimed efficiency. Some of these issues include its inability, in some instances, to recognize passwords. However, this issue is easily resolved by retyping and reentering the password. Likewise, there are instances wherein it is slow to load, and navigating between screens causes a bit of confusion for some less techy employees. Moreover, the software is definitely non-intuitive.

Kronos Workforce Central is generally very helpful and reliable and performs better than the old system. In fact, I could not think, at present, of any other software that is better than Kronos. With regard to the minor issues relative to the use of Kronos, these minor can be easily resolved with the help of Kronos’ tech support group. Additionally, this software definitely has a lot of room for further innovation; yet, at present, I consider it as the best software at hand when it comes to time tracking and timekeeping.
