Absolutely. The bulk of data transfer happens when the event is setup on the device which can be prior to the event at you office using WiFi. After the schedule have been downloaded and the event is set up. iSessions doesn't need Internet connectivity at all and you can capture attendees at the conference sessions completely off line. At the end of the event you can upload the captured data all at once.
If real time attendance data is a must, the data per attendee exchanged with the server is minimal. (more)

iSessions is an iOS app that you can use on an iPhone or an iPad. However, iSessions is geared toward show managers and conference organizers who would like to track sessions attendance or verify access eligibility to those sessions. Therefore, to be able to use iSessions, you must have an account on LeadsLightning portal where you upload the conference sessions schedule and tell iSessions how to read the barcode on the attendee badge.
