Interact Intranet

The best part to me is that Interact allow some basic information to be taken from our domain controller but this information doesn't write back at all to our controller if the user then updates their information

The Support package we pay for isn't worth the paper it is written on. Best part about support is that you get access to the forum with other interact users that have been conned into their service. this is where you might be able to find someone else who is using interact and together the both of you can struggle though with no help from interact. All service helpdesk calls logged with them go like this: Call logged > Fault slightly looked at by someone who really doesn't understand what they are talking about > Gets given to someone who thinks they understand but only gets little progress before it given to tier 3 > Then you have to wait 3 weeks > then Tier 3 advise they need to send to the engineers for review. I have seen helpdesk calls on interacts forum like this: "Hi Interact, seems as it has been 2 years, fancy having a look at this major problem we logged with you?"

They charge far to much for simple changes (£870 just to change a background colour is a bit much, it was only going from White to Grey!). Great if you don't require: Any support A working end product access to your data etc To be fair though, they are great if you require a headache, they are amazing at giving them.
