There are numerous factors that determine how much time you should allow for your implementation, i.e. number of users, amount of data, required training, etc. However the basic install of the software and connecting it with Active Directory should take only 3-4 hours.

Aside from onboarding support and training which we offer, I would like to point out our free Intranet Modeler tool (http://www.intellienterprise.com/intranet-solutions/modeler/overview).

This allows you to create a sitemap using best practice templates which you can view and share as a sketch mock up. Once you've found a suitable structure there is a one-click install to implement the Model as a real-life intranet inside IntelliEnterprise.

Thank you for your question. IntelliEnterprise has its own API which you can call in other projects. But you could also use IntelliEnterprise to trigger other APIs, e.g. as part of your workflows, to include libraries in search or to push content or blog posts to IntelliEnterprise.
