The Hampton Staff Planner was custom designed on-site at the 500 bed Daughters of Jacob nursing home in the Bronx. It was created to simplify management of staff issues.
It was also designed to save money by issuing actual reports of improper scheduling with instructions on how to FIX the problems.
The Hampton Staff Planner on the first day of use compares current schedules against the facilities needs (PARS). It then generates an actual dollar amount of errors found based on detected over scheduled assignments. In nursing homes ranging in size from 95 to 520 beds we have found $68,000 to $850,000 per annum in errors respectively.
After finding these errors the software can automatically re-assign the overbooked to open slots. The errors can also be fixed manually by pointing and clicking. After setup there is no more typing. All scheduling and attendance is done by pointing and clicking with the mouse.
