What was the best part about using GENKAN?
I learnt alot about how Property Management Software could work, should work and ultimately didn't work. The honeymoon was definitely over after a year or two, and the man in charge, well he sold the dream, but couldn't deliver. So the best part, was when I left.
What would you change about your experience with GENKAN?
I would have pulled the pin earlier. I would have listened to that voice that said, 'get the flock outa here now!'....'run from the nasty bully who keeps finding excuses for his glitchy software.'
I wouldn't be as nice as I was. Every email to customer service, was so meticulously thought through, every word carefully chosen, so as not to shake the ugly beast who slumbered in his cave...because the wrath can be venomous and vile. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
He made me feel like crap, on so many occasions. He made be more angry than I thought possible. He made me cry with frustration on many occasions.
Overall Feedback
I started out thinking this software was the ducks nuts. I left thinking it was poison. The man nearly closed my business when he shut off my website.
Nothing is ever his fault, everything is always your mistake. It was a steep learning curve for me, but I came out tougher. If you have an option, keep looking at your options.
