eXo Platform

The eXo Platform comes packed with several social and collaborative features. It integrates with various third party business applications. It allows me to share links, documents, updates and knowledge using the eXo platform. The user interface is good enough to attract the users to use this platform. This is one of the best software I’ve ever used for document management for my Social Collaboration.

The eXo platform is a bit costly to use, but it is understandable considering the services offered by the eXo platform. Hardware requirement is quite high, if we consider it for smaller organizations. One thing about eXo platform which I did not like is that it does not provide more custom applications for users. Sometimes application becomes slow. The GUI also needs to be given touch-up, in order to make it more user-friendly.

Experience of using eXo Platform was good. It is very effective and good enough to use. It offers an array of benefits, such as improving efficiency in managing new ideas, improving internal collaboration processes, reducing number of e-mails, motivating employees to build loyalty. However, it can be quite tricky to do modifications, if you never messed around with Java servers.
