When you purchase Exclaimer Mail Archiver, you also have to buy a mandatory Software Maintenance Agreement that lasts for one year. The cost is not very high. This provides access to support, software updates etc. After one year, it is up to you if you want to renew this. There is also a 3 year SMA option available to. (more)
