eVisitor FAQ

1) Windows Computer – eVisitor apps currently run on Windows computers only. A general-purpose Windows computer with the following specs is all you need: - Windows version: all Windows versions that are still supported by Microsoft. - CPU: i3 or above. Must use INTEL or AMD processor. Snapdragon or any other ARM processors DO NOT work with label printers and can’t be used. - RAM: 8GB and above recommended - Monitor: Full HD(1920×1080) and above is recommended - For eVisitor Kiosk, a Windows tablet with the above specs and touch screen is required (13″ Microsoft Surface Pro tablet is highly recommended). Must use INTEL or AMD processor. Snapdragon or any other ARM processors DO NOT work with label printers and can’t be used. - eVisitor cannot be installed on a Windows computer in S Mode. S Mode is a locked down secure version of Windows, mostly used for Students or Teachers. S Mode will ONLY allow applications to run that were downloaded from the Microsoft Store. Users can switch their computer out of S Mode to install eVisitor. However, once a computer is switched out of S mode, it cannot be switched back. 2) Internet Connection – An internet connection with speed of 5 MB and above is recommended for smooth operation.
