What was the best part about dealing with Credit Card Processing Specialists?
Without question, the best part was the quality service I received. Credit card processors are like insurance companies... if you do not encounter any problems, you will not need to communicate with them. I have found because of the nature of this relationship, most of the times you speak with a processing company, it feels transactional and very impersonal. This was the complete opposite in dealing with Credit Card Processing Specialists.
First off, there must be hundreds of thousands of companies to choose for a processor, so where does someone even begin? I did some researching on Google and found myself skeptical of many processor's websites. The sites looked thrown together and full of big promises which made me feel there was nowhere to go but disappointment.
After seeing this site, I decided to call instead of fill out a form and wait. A representative answered right away. I was most impressed with the amount of questions he asked about myself and my business before diving right into rates and fees. He explained that they offer a wide variety of services tailored to different business needs so he wanted to know about my consulting practice to make sure he offered me the best-fit services. However, it did not feel like a yes/no questionnaire or fill in the blank survey. It actually felt like a personal conversation which was refreshing.
Anyway, bottom line is I was extremely satisfied with the personal service. Beyond that, the rates I was offered were actually slightly better than everywhere else I called as well which. I have been with them almost one year now and I would strongly recommend them if you are in need of a processing company.
What was the worst part about dealing with Credit Card Processing Specialists?
The only part that was slightly disappointing was that after building a rapport with the initial representative, he actually transferred me to complete my sign up process. It would have been nice if everything could have been done in one motion with the same person.
I cannot complain though because the representative actually stayed on the line while he transferred me. He introduced me to the woman who would help me complete my sign up but also had already given her all the information she needed so I did not have to go through explaining anything else or reiterating my business needs, plans discussed, etc. So despite the transfer, it was pretty seamless.
Overall, I definitely recommend Credit Card Processing Specialists to anybody in need of a processing company. I think it always pays to compare, but if you experience is anything like mine, you will end up a happy client with this company as well. They seem to answer the phone very quickly so I recommend calling them when you have a few minutes to talk and explain your business needs.
If you are not sold on them just from their service, call a few other companies and you will see what I mean about it feeling impersonal and transactional. I like to spend my money where I know that if I ever need help or have a concern, I am considered as an individual and not as a user number or a case ID. The people I dealt with definitely were specialists in my mind.
