Our organization stared using Cision to better distribution of information regarding the quality of product and the services we offer. The Cision application comes up with a big contact list which can help to find new media contacts from various sources including the bloggers and the biggest strength is real-time updates which help in increasing the campaign to new and broader horizons. Adding further it is very easy to learn and use - and also to teach as well!

The worst part of using Cision is that there are not many advanced search features and saving the lists can sometimes be really cumbersome. Also the dashboard features can be greatly improved to make the product really competitive. Our development team has also given their views that there are lot of bugs/errors which were not fixed and resulting in lot of workaround time for the end users. The interface features existing at present also need a lot of work to make it user friendly.

Cision is wonderful software tool for generating lists and it provides current contact information of reporters, editors, media outlets, etc. However as mentioned, saving the lists can sometimes be be 'Hair Splitting'. The positive effects of using Cision products was definitely the increased viewership of our profile and puts our clients at the top of many outlets. I also think Cision is better adaptable for large businesses compared to small or medium ventures. I would rate the Cision products 7.6 out of 10..
