CatalogVX surprised me with the affordable price as for the price they offer you’ll have more than enough capabilities – including creating catalogs for print, PDF, mobile devices and CD-ROM. Though it is somewhat of an „old-school“ solution, being able to include multi-video presentations in the catalog or flash introduction for example is an awesome asset.

The only downside I have to say is that the software feels a bit old-fashioned, both for the looks of it and the overall feature set. It lacks in adapting to modern sharing and publishing means so therefore I find it not as well suitable for modern companies when compared to some other similar solutions.

Despite the bit old feel to it, it doesn't necessarily mean the software couldn't fulfill your needs, especially as it supports many different publishing methods. As it is rather affordable and has even a free option to try it out, you can see it more closely and understand if it can meet your needs.
