What was the best part about using AutoPilot?
Autopilot is a multi-channel marketing platform which focuses on creating journeys through the customer lifecycle. It allows for automating email, SMS text marketing, in-app messages and also coordination of direct mail marketing. The user interface is very intuitive and it's possible to connect with offline, online and mobile customers using their platform. It's a unique platform in that their choice of specialized marketing modules as a whole seems uncommon in the market and that makes it unique.
Autopilot is a very visual software similar to using a whiteboard for creating mind maps. It allows you to visually create, manage, automate and track marketing campaigns using a drag and drop console. You can communicate with customers using personalized email, instant in-app messaging, SMS and direct mail. It comes with built in integrations to Zapier, Twilio, Slack, Segment, Salesforce, GoodData and others.
Autopilot also provides guides with pre-made 'customer journeys' to help understand best practices with basic user guides for all components of your account. The software allows for nurturing customers and prospects with instant messaging within the app itself based on optimal timing. As well as trigger marketing events and activities based on specific user behavior such as sending personalized email after contact form submission while updating your contact list.
With Autpilot's tracking system and contact form capture it's possible to capture data from blogs, apps or any website. Including the actions of both customer's and anonymous website visitors in real time. With insightful analytics built in to give a visual understanding of campaign results.
Pricing includes a free trial available with no credit card required. Paid plans currently begin at $4 per month for 500 contacts. 1000 contacts is $20 per month through $2400 per month at 500,000 contacts. Beyond that they recommend contacting support for pricing. There is also a 20% savings for annual purchases.
I like that Autopilot helps make everything easy by mapping a complete marketing campaign in a single dashboard using drag and drop technology. With trigger and action based automation, tracking and reporting. I love the pre-made journeys which make it simple to learn and emulate best practices using their software. I've not tested support yet but by all accounts in my research it's excellent.
The list of integrations is very good. The user interface is incredibly intuitive and workflow becomes seamless from beginning to end of campaigns. The contact manager is very easy to understand and utilize. Tracking is also easy to set up.
What would you change about your experience with AutoPilot?
Autopilot does not currently feature role based workflows, custom reports, lead scoring, custom landing pages, calendar scheduling with a few integrations still not available such as some common CRM's. The social media marketing could be improved based on other similar cross-channel marketing platforms.
