Animal Intelligence

Simple platform that is easy to learn. Price is reasonable, if the software would actual work as it is supposed to.

My practice had been with Animal Intelligence for about 17 years. Personally I worked with them for about 10 years. In those 10 years the customer service rapidly declined. Anytime there was an issue with the software, it was our fault. If they did admit there was a bug, they would send a patch which would fix said problem but then cause 6 new ones. The reps themselves were always very pleasant and kind to me but they were never quick to admit there was a bug.

We were not on the cloud with Animal Intelligence. We hosted on our own in-house server. Every time we did an update, there were new bugs. We purchased the LabLinx module which was supposed to integrate with our reference lab and it never worked properly. Not once. AI blamed the lab, the lab blamed AI. Regardless of whose fault it was I was tired of spending my days on the phone troubleshooting the issues. After a few months. I asked for a refund of my $4000 investment. I was denied. I requested to speak to the owner and threatened to find a new practice management software. Instead of trying to maintain our business for another 17 years, they bid me farewell. Come to find out, another local clinic had the same exact issue and was also denied a refund of their purchase. I have since switched softwares and my only regret was not having done it sooner. It is a terrible business practice to sell a faulty module and deny a refund when it doesn't work. Poor ethics in my opinion.
