AccountEdge is a desktop accounting program. So once you purchase the licenses - you own it. The initial license is $399 and additional user licenses can be purchased singly for $249 or in packs of 5 for $999. If you decide to upgrade your version down the road - it would be $159 for a single user to upgrade and $249 for users with more than one license (upgrades all their licenses for $249).
