It is easy to use and set up when compared to other video conferencing software’s out there. It is fluid to use both for the viewers and the hosts. The software is not cluttered and is user friendly without a lot of distractions. With most conferencing programs being tedious to set up and full of stability issues Zoom is a welcome difference. Using multiple video chats is also easy with no issues. Recording the ongoing session is allowed with a nifty feature that enables you to extract audio from a file separately. Starting a chat is conveniently easy with just a click of a button as the links to specific people are automatically saved. The dual screen option is great when you are using many devices or chat windows. The ability of the software to inform you which side of the connection has connection problems is very good. Scheduling for meetings online is also very easy and it is compatible with Slack. The networking feature whiteboard also helps save a lot of time.

The program takes to go full screen when somebody shares the screen. The full screen mode fills the screen taking complete control of the desktop. This is not customizable. The User Interface is a bit too simple and unimaginative. It would not hurt the developers to create a more appealing UX for the users. There are also issues with sound lagging and the disabled video when starting a conference sometimes gets stuck.

Zoom is one of the top conferencing software’s available in the market. Its greatest asset is that it works without hitches or bugs. Another lovely thing is its fluidity which makes it the conferencing software of choice to me and many others who are just discovering it. Zoom also allows participants to chat online like a messaging service. Zoom works well with slow connection speeds and the sound quality is awesome.
