Zoho Recruit

When I merged akoyaSoft with my partner's HR business the first thing I did was the implementation of Zoho Recruit. The recruitment team was using Google Docs to manage resumes and Interviews. While Google Docs is good for collaboration, it's not meant to be used as a tool for recruitment process. Zoho Recruit will automate your recruitment process and you can easily go through your candidate database to match skills for a new job opening. You can schedule interviews for a particular job or any generic interview. To ensure that you do not miss out on any interview, you will get alerts. In order to save time, candidate records can be created by uploading Excel/CSV files. Web forms created by Zoho Recruit can be embedded to your website so that anyone applying your website, the information is directly fed into the system. Management is also on top of everything. The team can log calls and create tasks. So my Managers do not have to ask for daily reports, they can create those themselves. Zoho Recruit has very powerful social integrations. LinkedIn integration allows you to search for people right within the app. You can view the profile and even send them private messages. When integrated with Facebook and Twitter, you can post Job's on company pages and Twitter accounts.

1. No option to upload resume in bulk 2. Resume parser will miss out on information if the resume is not in a correct format and if will pick up no information at all if the resume is in PDF format. 3. LinkedIn has a threshold of the number of searches which are allowed per day. Once you cross that limit, you will get an error while performing a LinkedIn search.

I would highly recommend investing in Zoho Recruit. I haven't tried any other similar software because I'm already using a lot of Zoho apps and at the core the functionalities of Zoho Recruit are very similar to those available in Zoho CRM. So it took me very little time to understand the system fully and start using it. It provides you control over your recruitment business, will save the time of your team and overall improve efficiency.
