What was the best part about using Zendesk?

Zendesk is a popular customer support software I've used to easily provide care for the needs of my clients. It's relatively simple to learn; your team can become very efficient with it. The cost is very affordable starting at $5 per agent, per month for their most basic plan. It's knows for it's reliability and that says a lot about their infrastructure. They have some huge companies onboard using this system because of it's reliability. Actually I've noticed support desks from large enough businesses you would think they would have their own dedicated branded domain or sub-domain as a helpdesk, but instead use a zendesk sub-domain for this. That's saying a lot about the trust in the Zendesk brand. Zendesk is very easy to use. In fact, it's been overhauled since I used it a few years ago and now it's even easier than I remember. It's a very comprehensive support platform. I like it's not just for email tickets, but phone support, live chat and social media too like Facebook and Twitter. The cloud base enables you to login from any device and use your account on any device where you have an internet connection. It's important you can collaborate with your team in this version much easier than I remember too. This functionality has come a long way and would be useful when you have to resolve complicated problems between multiple team members. I like the automation tools included like macros which make a redundant set of tasks possible to complete with a single click. What a time saver. The analytic reporting has been greatly improved as well. Customer support by Zendesk is very good in my experience. The spam feature works incredibly well from what I hear. I've just started using it again and haven't had any spam to filter yet. I really the integrations possible with Zendesk. More than two hundred available currently some of which are free and some are paid. I'm not certain how we'll utilize these yet but you can add ecommerce tools which is appealing. As well as enhance the social media tools. There are so many though it's one of the things that differentiates Zendesk in addition to it's reliability. The ability to take action on multiple tickets is awesome. As well as how you can assign roles in the company which helps to ensure priority or sensitive tickets are handled by those with the most experience. The user interface is relatively intuitive and easy to use. Slightly better than others I tried so far during my research phase. Their clearly always developing and updating this software which is reassuring.

What would you change about your experience with Zendesk?

Zendesk I believe used to have a free option that was permanent but now it's only a fourteen day trial. I would suggest going though all of the account options thoroughly before moving forward to offer live support. There are a number of default options that may or may not apply to your support scenario. There could be more labeling in your dashboard. I find icons to be another set of symbols to learn which is fine, it just takes time and energy to do so. Even if it's minimal I'd rather place this into my business directly.

Overall Feedback

Overall with the such reliability Zendesk is a great choice if you're going to grow your business and have the need to scale up support on a reliable platform. Software can always be better to this point of I've never left a five star review across the board for any. But companies that continually improve their user experience and update their software such as Zendesk are those that come the closest in my opinion. The pricing is about average in the industry from my research but based on their brand I would choose them over several other so far. Recommended.
